HIP (Hospitality Internship Program)
THE PROGRAM: Paid, customized internships in three hospitality fields: Food & Beverage, Front of House, Food Production, and Hotel Management, with renowned hotels and resorts across Australia.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
Age: between 18 and 45 years
Education: Be enrolled in a higher education program (minimum bachelor's degree) or have recently graduated within the last 12 months from a full-time course in Hospitality or Culinary.
English: Intermediate to Advanced
STUDENTS: Currently enrolled in a full-time hospitality or culinary course
GRADUATES: Must have recently graduated within the last 12 months (from a full-time course in Hospitality or Culinary)
WORK EXPERIENCE S&G: Minimum 6 months of prior full-time experience (or 12 months part-time) and currently working in the selected internship department.
OTHER CANDIDATES: Have previously obtained a relevant qualification plus 12 months of full-time work in the last 24 months and be currently working in the relevant department's field of practice.
Duration: 6 to 12 months
Working hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
Location: Major Australian cities (flexibility required)
Subsidy: Minimum AU$23.00 per hour
